• The faculty members and the M.Pharm 2nd year students of ISFCP undertook an industrial visit to the drug discovery department of Panacea Biotec on October 10th, 2015. The students were provided a wide exposure to the manufacturing facilities and were extensively benefited by the company professionals. Students have visited several departments such as QA, QC. Over all students had a memorable experience though they had crossed the bridge in between theoretical and practical knowledge. Prof. P. D. Juyal, Director (R&D); along with Ms. Amrinder Aman and Mr. Shamsher Singh accompanied the students. The visit was worthy enough and at each steps the company members replenished the knowledge of students. At the end of visit, on behalf of ISFCP, Prof. P. D. Juyal, Director (R&D) expressed a whole hearted thanks to the Panacea Biotech team for their kind co-operation and providing opportunity to gain the knowledge about industrial exposure which has definitely enhanced the knowledge of students to achieve their professional interest. Their contributions were greatly acknowledged.

• The students of ISFCP, Moga, visited Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, Jammu on October 2nd, 2015. The students were accompanied by Dr. Neeraj Mishra, Mr. Ravinder Singh and Ms. Rimpi. The visit initiated with the detailed briefing about the company through presentation and videos by the General Manager, followed by an informal interaction in which students raised queries related to their specializations, operational challenges and job opportunities. Students were taken around different section of the plant, which included primary packaging section, acceptance and rejection section, engineering section including boiler and chilling plant, power control system and warehouse. Prior to the industrial visit, an in-house orientation session was conducted for the students with an overview of the pharmaceutical industry in general and Cadila Pharmaceuticals, to provide a maximum gain for the students.

• A visit to Fortis Hospital, Ludhiana was made by Department of Pharmacy Practice, PharmD 2nd year and 5th year students on December 2nd, 2015 .The students were accompanied by Prof. P. D. Juyal, Director (R&D); and Mr. Amit Sharma, Head, Dept. of Pharmacy Practice. The visit initiated with the detailed briefing about the hospital through presentation by the General Manager, followed by an informal interaction in which students raised queries related to treatment chart review, drug information, poison information, adverse drug reactions, patient counseling, internship and job opportunities. Students were taken around different ward of the hospital.

A visit to Fortis, Ludhiana was made by Department of Pharmacy Practice, PharmD third year students on 31.01.2015. At Fortis, students saw the day to day working and organogram of an advanced hospital setup. Students learned various inventory control practical tips, Lasa drugs list, Crash Cart (Code cart), Oncology vaccination and dosage preparations in sterile environment, Casualty Emergency Protocols, Cardiology and advanced cardiac care units. Students interacted with the team members of Centralized Pharmacy. The visit was lead by hospital administration including Dr. Arup Misra, MD, MBBS, Clinical Pharmacologist and HR Manager
